چکیده

Using biometrics to verify a person’s identity has several advantages such as avoid practice of passwords. Speaker recognition is the process of recognize a people using speaker-specific information contained in a speech signal. Speaker recognition systems can be divided into two modes: identify a particular person or verify a person’s based on claimed identity. Front-end and back-end processing in speaker recognition system have been reviewed and discussed here. Finally we outline the recent technique for pattern matching in speaker verification.

Speaker Adaptation in Continuous Speech Recognition Using MLLR-Based MAP Estimation

A variety of methods are used for speaker adaptation in speech recognition. In some techniques, such as MAP estimation, only the models with available training data are updated. Hence, large amounts of training data are required in order to have significant recognition improvements. In some others, such as MLLR, where several general transformations are applied to model clusters, the results ar...

Improving Robustness of Speaker Recognition to New Conditions Using Unlabeled Data

Unsupervised techniques for the adaptation of speaker recognition are important due to the problem of condition mismatch that is prevalent when applying speaker recognition technology to new conditions and the general scarcity of labeled ‘in-domain’ data. In the recent NIST 2016 Speaker Recognition Evaluation (SRE), symmetric score normalization (Snorm) and calibration using unlabeled in-domain...
